Romance at GIngersnap Creations

my scan didnt like the bottom of my card, didnt matter which way I did it, it says "i've found my frog . . ." and inside it says "and i love to kiss him . ."

its for the hubby, I used a stamp from sugar nellie coloured in with pro markers, the cut outs are from my craft robo, really pleased with the loopy frame, as I love the Marth Stewart loop punches but they are a wee bit expensive, so hopefully this will keep me happy, and I need to start saving for Ally Pally in April and the Craft Barn in March.  So I am entering this for the challenge at GingerSnap creations.

and its supposed to be creatively crooked, honest it really is.

scanned my image this time, seems to be a bit easier than taking loads of photos and then wittling them down to the best, might even save me some time.

Tuesday Taggers Challenge

This week the challenge was to use a Jigsaw Piece by Tuesday Taggers, so I rummaged through my supplies and found two large pieces, decided to cover them in metal tape, one of them I then added glimmer mists and viva paint to, (lovely muted colours), then decided to distress with black acrylic paint,this rubbed everything else of, LOL, so going with the one I decided to texturise with Ferro paint, add glimmer mists, perfect pearls and viva paint and then attach a metal flower and leaf.  Enjoy.

Play Date Cafe Challenge 12

woooh Im cooking on gas,challenge no 2 in one evening, whoop whoop

so PDDC 12 challenge was blues, icy and glittery

first photo is without flash second one is with, mix them together in your own mind and thats what it looks like!!!

my ATC is called "Snowflakes Falling", glimmer mists, Tim Holtz stamps, distress embossing powder, blue glass embossing powder, blue staz-on and a little bit of stickles, hope you all like it, its another tradeable for anyone interested

Tuesday Taggers

this weeks challenge at Tuesday Taggers is Tag it with Birds, and for my first attempt on this challenge I present, the aptly titled "Birds".

Started off glimmer misting a page of text with various autumnal colours, when dried ripped and collaged onto tag, added some Viva Paint and then some transparent crackle, impatient to get on, put on radiator to speed up drying.  Took this time to decide what to put on it, had some ideas then saw dried tag, yuk it was horrible, luckily I had folded text paper onto back and stuck down with some modge podge, also left quite a bit of tag showing, so worked for my image transfer idea, used classic movie poster image from birds, and the image transfer worked, yee hah.  So there we go my first attempt with the Tuesday taggers, hope you like.
