Tuesday Taggers Challenge
This week the challenge was to use a Jigsaw Piece by Tuesday Taggers, so I rummaged through my supplies and found two large pieces, decided to cover them in metal tape, one of them I then added glimmer mists and viva paint to, (lovely muted colours), then decided to distress with black acrylic paint, this rubbed everything else of, LOL, so going with the one I decided to texturise with Ferro paint, add glimmer mists, perfect pearls and viva paint and then attach a metal flower and leaf. Enjoy.
sorry about photography, that really isnt dust you can see, ROFL

Tuesday Taggers
this weeks challenge at Tuesday Taggers is Tag it with Birds, and for my first attempt on this challenge I present, the aptly titled "Birds".
Started off glimmer misting a page of text with various autumnal colours, when dried ripped and collaged onto tag, added some Viva Paint and then some transparent crackle, impatient to get on, put on radiator to speed up drying. Took this time to decide what to put on it, had some ideas then saw dried tag, yuk it was horrible, luckily I had folded text paper onto back and stuck down with some modge podge, also left quite a bit of tag showing, so worked for my image transfer idea, used classic movie poster image from birds, and the image transfer worked, yee hah. So there we go my first attempt with the Tuesday taggers, hope you like.

Gingersnaps Creations C37 - TIME
Above is my second challenge, I seem to be following Flutterby for this one as well, she knows where all the good ones are, or seems to. Quite simply the challenge was TIME.
Had a day off today, so came downstairs with blinkers on so as to not look at any household tasks that may need doing, stepped over pile off clothes left by youngest and ensconced myself at the craft table. Have found that sketching ideas out works best for me as it gives me a starting point, then I start searching stamps and paper and before I know it the inks are out and the fingers are dirty. Finished this off between watching Gothika, have had it for ages and never watched it, fantastic film really enjoyed it, would recomend it, also has the lovely Behind Blue Eyes by Fred Dunst as the title song.
Oops forgot the link, here we are

. . hey honey Im home . . . . .
Hello to all my blogging buds, finally got some art done and ready to post. This year I am gonna try and expand my creativity by taking part in challenges, so if there are any good ones out there please send me the links. Anyway last night I saw some fab work from Flutterby Crafter for a challenge and decided stupidly to have a go, stupid because flutterby's work is just fab, (link to her blog on left.) So its for PDDC and the challenge was to use silver, gold, black and white as focal colours and any other colours to be neutral.
So I set to work whilst listeneing to Gavin and Stacey series 3 on the tv, and lo and behold I am very very pleased with the outcome, some art I actually love and would consider reproducing for some wall art. Ok that may be a bit overboard but I was so christmassed out, to see me produce something nice was an achievement for me, so off to bed, woke up in the morning and still liked it, So here is my first challenge entry of the year. Meant to say I've titled this ATC "Storm Coming". If I can let it go will be up for a swap, Rusty you have first dibs as I owe you.
