Compendium of Curiosities Challenge no 30

This week over at the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge we are onto page 48 "Altered Metal with Paint".  Started playing whilst watching Silent Witness, struggled a bit does anyone else have probs getting the dabbers to start flowing!! so resorted to a paintbrush, then had a play with my new die and some DI, and twilight street was born.

This is such a lovely tag! For the dabbers the they have improved the formula for the new ones. They flow well. The old ones we have to use a brush to apply them. How did you make your stars?

Great tag, like the colour above the houses. Glad someone did something during Silent Witness, I managed to fall asleep, so boring after last weeks terrific episodes.

Love this - the colours are really fab. Do you know, I have some dabbers and have never used the sponge bit at all. Just open the lid and shove a brush right in!

Terrific piece so atmospheric. With some of mine I have just added a little water and stirred it up and usually its fine then. Plus storing them upside down really helps. Saw that on Tim's Blog, he has great tips. Annette x

Siobhan, you've used my absolute favorite die for this tag, and used it BEAUTIFULLY! I love the gorgeous background and the starry sky, and the altered metal corner is perfect!

Yes, I usually have to use a paintbrush with my dabbers. In this dry climate, the sponges just don't work well. Still love the paint, though!
