WOYWW 56

So on my desk today we have my attempt to make my sister's birthday card, its on the 6th July but have no idea when she will get it as she is working in Saudi at the moment, and to send post there, you might as well throw it in the bin and save the hassle, so will send it to her home address, though I could send her an email with a photo of it, yes I think I will do that, haha problem solved.

For those eagle eyed about you will notice that my desk has been re-organised again, now having only done it the week before that could be called obsessive, but I have a grand excuse.  And it goes like this, a local card shop has given up retail selling and classes and was selling of all its furniture, and below you will see the wonderful set of shelves I got, which display all my paints and things lovely, perhaps if I can see and stroke them more often I will actually use them, now that took the place of another shelf set I had, so I ended up moving that onto my desk (aka dining table), I think its worked out lovely and will now try NOT to rearrange area again, (well defn not this month).

I also today received my WOYWW easel, so thank you very much Julia, you are so kind to have done that, am now thinking of ways to personalise it and am thinking some metal tape, dont know how it will work out, but I shall post it for you to see in the future. Also stolen someones brillinat idea for using bulldog clips to hold scissors and such like.
If you want to see more WOYWW follow this link.

Happy WOYWW to everyone.......   :)

oh wow - not that I want any craft shops closing down or anything but I need one to so I can get some storage space (a bigger house would help lol). I'm sure your sister will appreciate her card even if it is in email form for the time being.

Aha . . . I spy a little drawer on your desk . . . which MUST come from a very pretty Laura Ashley box of drawers (I know, because there are 2 of these sets on the part of the desk I didn't photograph!!!!) Thanks for coming to see me at my blog x

Love nosing around your workspace, Pidd. I wish I had something to display all my paints and inks properly so I could see what I've got! spied some Julia Andrus eco paints - fab aren't they. I bought 5 yesterday (eggplant, waterfall, raspberry, butternut and pistachio).

Wow, what a FIND. Great for you, sorry for your local store. So many are going out of business these days. You have done your inks and paints proud. Not obsessive at all! Hope you had a great WOYWW.

I shall take my bow now (curtsy) Mind you your bull clips are much posher than mine!! But you see the things you lose all the time ( well I do) are right there all the time and if you want you can easily move the bull clip to any where, My next thing is magnets...but have no where to put them...yet
Love all your pens, yopu have more orangie ones than me

Well, this looks beautifully neat and tidy. Now can you come to my house and tidy mine? Hope you left room for the new inks ;-)
(Don't worry about what your OH will say. He will see that they make you happy and that you NEED them. And if not, send him round to me and I'll explain hahahah!)

Cor! Scored well with the shelving! It looks great - just the job. I wonder what the ratio between stroking and using will be now?! Shame about the shop though. I bet you'll also rearrange again at some stage - you'll realise something or other is too far out of reach or too difficult to put back without moving something else - it's natural reallY!
