Wot no name

I have decided it is time to grow up and rename my blog to something that explains a little bit more what it is about.  The only problem is what to call it, some of the blog names out there are so brilliant and I'd love to have a really good one, ie The Altered Inker, Ink on my fingers, they are just so descriptive so I am suitably envious.  So please help me one and all and come up with some suggestions.

Some of the options I've come up with are,

Plinkity Ink
Crafting Dreams
Artistic Splatters
Splatters of Art
Inky musings
Organised chaos

let me know what you think, I think I have a fave, but I shall sleep on it...... night night

ah Pidders I do not envy you,

I was given my name

Donna Louise Rodgers by my lovely M&D and tend to use it to the Full

my blog name Doings of Doone was decided upon by my incredulous (not usually in a good way) onlookers as in- What the heck are you doing now doone?

Never have I had to make one up for myself...except my web site....and then adonnathing is hardly ground breaking...

I do think using your name is important if the work is You. Less important if it is about using other peoples stuff to make things?

will send dates for a meet up - will be early Feb and depends on when Lizzie can accomodate me...

if I was responsible for naming you I would call you

Pidders Emerging Art (PEA) Pod

Sleep well and deep

Dx

I was thinking the same as Donna - using your name.

I would have done that if I had it to do over again. I always liked the GOT MILK? commercials and GOT ART? came to mind when I first put my blog together. I still like it, but like I said, I would have simply called it sherry goodloe if I had it to do over again.

now with that said, I DO like Splatters of Art and Organised Chaos that you have listed as a couple of your options.

maybe when you wake up something will have hit you :)

I know exactly how you feel! (about the growing up bit) I rushed in - a friend was helping me set up my blog and asked what nickname I had - well, I didn't have one but my kids always call me Sandy Poppins 'cos they loved Mary Poppins when they were young so that stuck..and now I feel slightly foolish with all the great blog names out there! I shall look on with interest to see how you fare and then I may give myself a blog overhaul! Good luck with the name - I guess you'll know when they right one pops into your mind - it'll feel right! x

I hate my blog name, I set it up on a whim and as I was always called a flutterby because I swop from one thing to another all the time, it seemed appropriate. But...I agree with you there are some fantastic names out there. I like the name you already have though. xx

From that list, I think I'd put Inky Musings top. Not sure what Plinkity Ink is LOL I'll have a think and see if I can come up with some suggestions.

Your ladies look like fairies.

Last night I had a dream about a an insect and little fairies. I'm very psychic - and this is my first visit here.

Maybe your new name should reflect something about your fairy ladies?

Peace,
